Circular Sock Machine Quick Start Step #1, Cast On and Knit a Tube by Diana Sullivan

This video, Diana Sullivan’s “Circular Sock Machine Quick Start Step #1, Cast On and Knit a Tube,” is an excellent starting point as you learn to make socks on a CSM. Diana teaches on a new Tru-Knit CSM here. You’ll begin by seeing how to hang the bonnet, the buckle, and the weights. Next, you’ll see how to thread the machine, knit a tube, and then how to change colors. Practice these techniques a few times for a terrific beginning to mastering your own circular sock machine!
