I visited St Mary’s Church, Long Sutton, Lincolnshire for three reasons: One, it was a ‘three star’ in Simon Jenkins ‘England’s Thousand Best Churches'. Two, it was close to another church I’d visited (Christchurch, Dawesmere, also on this YT channel). Three, It is the church that Geoff Palmer is Treasurer of (and temporary P.C.C. - Parochial Church Council). I understand Geoff had got involved to prevent the church from being permanently closed. I thought if I visited, it might give a modicum of exposure, which might attract donations for the church upkeep. (I’m only a small channel, at present, but who knows?). Having visited St Mary’s there is much to merit it. If you’ve a moment to comment in the ‘comments section’ below the video, I’d be interested to read it. Best wishes @HimInChurch
