Zandvoort BMW Race Experience by CM.com instructed by DriverID 2023/07/06

Awesome Race Experience by @cmdotcom at the #formula1 circuit of ‪@CircuitZandvoortOfficial‬. First in a #simracing #simulator at ‪@racesquare‬ then the real deal #ontrack with great guidance by #DriverID instructor (insta: @driverid_nl)!

First 12 minutes in this video I #MichaVerboeket am driving myself, guided by an instructor of DriverID showing me the driving lines, braking and shifting points, etc. Even with my karting/racing experience I was not allowed to push any limits, which I could understand of course :), so I was instructed to stay off the curbs and take not too aggressive (for me as a kart driver: very very broad) lines. Although, it was difficult to suppress this urge to race, I managed fairly well I think :)

In this video: 1 lap with full instructions, 2 laps on my own, and then the track directors ended the session finishing my short but amazing driving experience on this ‪@Formula1‬ circuit of #CircuitZandvoort in #TheNetherlands! The #banking angles in the corners are really impressive 🔥, I can only imagine at more then double #F1 car speeds.. 😅

Then the second part of the video @11:55 (after my own driving session), I hopped into a car as a passenger, next to a racing driver who was practicing that day. This was a different, a bit more powerful, car than I was driving - so no comparison possible, (un)fortunately 😇. Thus, these lap times were 20s/lap quicker and you can hear the car revving up much quicker 😎. It was really nice to see the racing lines when pushing a bit more, also using the curbs and allowing to use the tires in the corner.
