We Got LOST at Fort Custer | Whitford Trail Hike & Abandoned Silo

We got LOST on the Whitford Trail in Fort Custer Recreational Area — and it turned into one of the most memorable hikes yet!

Along the way we found:
🏚️ An abandoned barn foundation and silo hidden deep in the woods
🏡 A cabin you can rent inside the park
🦢 Beautiful water views with white swans, flowers, and summer foliage
⚠️ A reminder of Fort Custer’s past as a military testing range, where live landmines could still exist off-trail
