How to Repair and Re-dye Cracked and Worn Leather Car Seats.
My Ferrari drivers seat bolster is looking a bit worse for wear, and that's because it's been repaired before.
To fix and re-dye the seat I'm first going to have to investigate the problems, then remove the repair and finally repair and re-dye the seat.

I've never dyed a seat before, but I found that the best approach is time and patience.
I removed the seat from the car to make life easier, but you could easily do it in situ.

Repairing and Re-Dying Leather Car Seats is definitely something you can do at home, but I do recommend using an airbrush. Although you can sponge it on, I find that the airbrush makes it easier to get an OEM finish. I use a cheap £25 airbrush and airbrush compressor that I've had for years.

I took professional advice from Bespoke Leathering (you may have seen them on Car S.O.S on Nat Geo) beforehand and they helped loads with some great advice.

[Always be mindful of Airbags and Pre-Tensioners when dealing with seats. Luckily mine doesn't have any airbags in the seats.]
