"Welcome back to Jogi Diary! This 15-minute vlog is full of surprises, starting with an unexpected meeting with my lovely dog, Max, at the garage! His crazy happiness made my day.
Since my car wash was due in two hours, I decided to take a 10-minute walk to the mighty Jhelum River. The river is always a place where new stories unfold.
First, I encountered Naser Bhai Malla (boatman) ferrying people and even motorcycles across the river! We also saw the boatmen's children skillfully fishing with hooks from their small boats. I hired Naser Bhai's boat for an adventure to the Bela (riverine forest) on the opposite bank for a hike.
Watch my unique journey across the water, the peaceful hike, and the mesmerizing colors of the sunset over the Jhelum River. After sunset, I called Naser Bhai to bring me back. This is an authentic look at the life and people of River Jhelum.
