Sungkai Trip Final Part 5: Sitiawan & Pantai Remis Places to Visit, SERDANG fried porridge dinner!

Part 5 of 5 of our family and friends trip to Sungkai Felda Hot Springs (Sungai Klah), Sitiawan and Pantai Remis!
After breakfast we visited the famous Hock Chew So Mee Shua (Konpian)福州面线寿 factory and shop to see how they make their famous mee suah. We also visited a Thai Buddhist temple called Wat Sitawaranam, and after we checked out from our homestay we went to Mr. Honey Bees farm where we learned a lot about honey bees.
It was soon time to leave Sitiawan and we drove about an hour to Pantai Remis, the first place we visited was Pantai Leong Roast Pork but unfortunately their siew yoke was sold out. We managed to get some frozen pork to bring home and eat at home. Do call to order if you want to buy roast meat from them.
Next on the list was a visit to a salted egg factory also in Pantai Remis called Pembekal Setia (M) Sdn Bhd. It was an interesting visit as we learned how they made salted duck eggs, and also managed to buy some home.
On the way back to Penang, we stopped at Serdang Sin Aik Kee Fried Porridge Restaurant 易记驰名炒粥, a famous restaurant I had been to a while ago. Its specialty is fried rice porridge which is delicious, and also many dishes on its menu.
I was feeling very tired from all the travelling and we went home after dinner.
