Aljunied, Geylang, and Paya Lebar are three areas in Singapore that are located along the East West line (EWL) of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system. They are also part of the Aljunied-Hougang Town Planning Region (AHTPR), which is one of the 23 planning regions in Singapore.

Aljunied is a residential and commercial area that was developed by the Housing and Development Board (HDB) in the 1970s. Some of the notable attractions in Geylang are the Sri Mariamman Temple, the Thian Hock Keng Temple, the Geylang Serai Market Complex, and the Geylang Waterfront.

Paya Lebar is a modern industrial and business hub that was developed by HDB in the 1980s. It is named after Paya Lebar Road, which connects to Eunos Road and Kallang Road. Paya Lebar has several industrial estates that house various companies and factories. Some of the prominent industries in Paya Lebar are electronics manufacturing services (EMS), biomedical engineering (BME), and food processing. Paya Lebar also has some residential developments, such as The Edelweiss Residences5, which offer affordable housing options for low- to middle-income families.
