Goa Nightclub Fire: Tourists Among 25 Killed In India

At least 25 people have died, including tourists, after a fire ripped through a popular nightclub in the Indian resort of Goa.
Police said the blaze broke out at about midnight local time at Birch by Romeo Lane, an upmarket restaurant and club in Baga, one of the most visited beaches in the seaside state.
Pramod Sawant, Goa’s chief minister, told journalists at the scene that “three to four” tourists had died, adding that three people had died of burn injuries, while others died from suffocation. It was not immediately clear from where the tourists originated.
