Three different types of a mosquito (Chironomidae)
The first one is when they live as a larva on the bottom. I fish them with a fast sinking line.
The second one is when they begin to swim up to the surface. In the middle water. Fish this with a floating line and long leader. I usually use some floating gel on the leader, not the whole leader thou. The last bit I want to sink so leave a half meter without floating gel.
The third one is a floating type. Here I also use a floating line and a long leader.
