THE $33 EGG IN A SMALL PERUVIAN TOWN 🇵🇪 MARAS, PERU

Today we explore the town of Maras, Peru. After visiting Salineras de Maras (the ancient salt mines of Maras) we walk for an hour or so to the town for which it's named. We decide to give back, by giving a very big propina (tip) to a family who owns a restaurant who gave us a very good deal and great Peruvian food. Maras is known for the salt mines and for the ruins at Moray, but we fell in love with the town as well. We spend time in a chicheria, have some chicha in someone's back yard, and explore the city. Covid 19 has taken over South America, so things are different right now, but we are still here to see what Peru is like. Watch to see the town of Maras in Peru in this Peru Travel Vlog.
