CAP Round I is the first allotment round based on Inter-Se-Merit and preferences filled by candidates. To participate, candidates must complete document verification and submit the Option Form. Allotted candidates must pay Rs. 1,000 seat acceptance fee and choose to freeze or float their seat. Freezing confirms the seat; floating allows consideration for higher preferences. Not confirming leads to cancellation and disqualification from further rounds. Institutes must confirm admissions via portal after verifying documents. Reservations apply, and all processes must follow CET Cell guidelines. Cancellations before cut-off get refunds after Rs. 1,000 deduction; post-deadline, no refund is given.
