Lubrang is a small hamlet located at 1 hour distance from Dirang, There is no mobile network here, there is no market, there are only about 30 to 40 houses. You will find nomads staying here, who stay here for few months and then go to upper Himalaya with their yaks.

After reaching Lubrang we had Ghee Chai there and breakfast at home of a villager.. We got to know about their lifestyle.

We also got chance to meet the Gaon Budha.

We also had red rice with local churpi ki sabji for lunch. The best part of having lunch was the local taste of the food and the scenic view of the Lubrang.

In the afternoon we left Lubrang and went back to Dirang to visit the hot water spring and saw Miyong river from height.

In the evening we reached the Thupsung Dhargye Ling Monastery, Dirang. The architecture of the monastery was amazing. This monastery also provides accommodations if any tourist wants to stay there.
Tariff: 1700 for double occupancy.

We also visited the National Research Centre of Yak. Then we had samosa and momos at Himveer Cafe which was about 50 m away from the National Research Centre of Yak.

After having snacks we went back to our homestay.
