Resumo:
Quantum networks are systems formed by the interconnection of quantum processors with quantum channels. Understanding how noise corrupts quantum information during communication through a network is of paramount importance to the development of efficient networking algorithms. Moreover, error bias description can improve the performance of error decoders. In this talk, I will introduce the quantum network tomography problem, where nodes perform end-to-end error characterization of quantum channels. We will explore star-shaped networks and derive estimators for parameters characterizing Pauli channels. The presentation covers previously published results [1], as well as recent developments.
