This video shows 5 Reasons why immersion ISN'T enough to learn a language. Although Immersion is the best way to learn a language as it is fundamentally based on the scientific research of Dr.Stephen Krashen, many people misunderstand what Immersion actually is.
I will break down each one of Krashen's theories and show how they are being misinterpreted to frame Immersion as THE ONLY way of learning a language when it is not.
We all know about Stephen Krashen's Input Hypothesis, but what you may not know are his 4 other hypotheses: The Acquisition Learning Hypothesis, The Monitor Hypothesis, The Natural Order Hypothesis, and The Affective Filter Hypothesis.
Each one of these Hypotheses will be talked about in relation to Immersion in this video.
