Two dives from 'Aluka Beach - aka Dog Beach or Crescent Beach l- by Honokohau Harbor in Kailua-Kona Hawaii. We came across a small bait ball of akule near the entry, a frogfish hanging from a mooring line, a female Whitley's boxfish, a small spotted eagle ray with an extremely long tail, and various other local wildlife. We had one pass from a pod of dolphins on the first dive, but they didn't come very close. We saw them getting more playful as we watched from shore during our dive interval, but by the time we were back in the water they had apparently moved on.
