Awesome Temple with a Skywalk in Chiang Rai, Thailand

A sensory overload at this temple visit, a little further out of town. Details, colors, shapes and figures that you don't all understand but perhaps have a meaning, even if it's just the joy of life of those who have invested their time to create such places. This could be a tourist attraction, but there were few here that day. There are many elaborate temple complexes in the country, historical and new, the motifs of Buddhism, the symbols of Theravada are repeated, but the design makes each temple a creative unique with different architectural styles depending on the region. Unfortunately the skywalk looks a bit out of place here, like scaffolding... but nice view ))

Eine Reizüberflutung etwas weiter außerhalb der Stadt. Details, Farben, Formen und Figuren die man nicht alle versteht aber vielleicht eine Bedeutung haben, und sei es vielleicht nur die Lebensfreude derer die ihre Zeit investiert haben um solche Orte zu schaffen. Das könnte ein Touristenmagnet sein, aber an dem Tag waren wenige hier. Es gibt viele aufwendige Tempelkomplexe im Land, historische und neue, die Motive des Buddhismus, die Symbole des Theravada wiederholen sich, aber die Ausgestaltung macht jeden Tempel zu einem kreativen Unikat mit verschiedenen Architekturstilen je nach Region. Der Skywalk wirkt hier leider etwas Fehl am Platz, wie ein Baugerüst... aber schöne Aussicht )) Mai'23
