These plant based meatballs are everything you want: well seasoned, moist, and super simple to make. We also walk through how to use my recipe as a template to veganize any non-vegan recipe out there and I show you how to construct the best meatball sub I've ever had.

RECIPE:
12 oz Impossible or Beyond Ground Meat
14 oz Impossible savory breakfast sausage (if you can't find, just sub for another pack of the Impossible or Beyond ground meat)
50g breadcrumbs
1 tsp MSG (sub for 1 T soy sauce if you don't have MSG)
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp red pepper flakes (1 tsp if you like it spicy)
1 tsp sugar
1-2 tsp Freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp oregano (sub 1/4tsp~ nutmeg if you're making them sweedish style)
Optional: 1 T vegan worcester sauce
Instructions:
Roll into 26, ~1oz meatballs, bake on a pan at 375F/190C for 15 min and enjoy however you like your meatballs.
Making the Sub:
Tear out a little space for the meatballs from the top bun
Lightly toast and then melt vegan cheese on top of the bottom bun (can also be done on top of the meatballs)
Simmer the meatballs in sauce until they stick to the balls
Add your sauced meatballs, add some sauce to the top bun
Add some basil and/or chopped pickled peppers, and enjoy.
