In this video, I’m tackling my first-ever attempt at airbrushing tank armour. I’m building a classic British/Canadian platoon for Bolt Action: the reliable Sherman V to deal with the infantry, and the massive Sherman Firefly to hunt down the German heavy armour.
I’m using Vallejo US Olive Drab to get that factory-fresh base coat down before we ruin them with winter weathering in the next video.
If you are new to airbrushing or just getting into Bolt Action, join me to see how I got on!
THE MODELS:
Warlord Games Sherman V (Plastic)
Warlord Games Sherman Firefly (Plastic)
PAINTS USED:
Vallejo Surface Primer (Grey)
Vallejo Model Color US Olive Drab
Vallejo Airbrush Thinner
COMING NEXT WEEK:
These tanks look too clean for the Winter 1944 table I’m building. Subscribe to catch Part 2, where I’ll be applying pin washes, mud effects, and showing you the historical "Barrel Trick" British crews used to hide the Firefly from the Germans!
