Hey Everyone,

Here is the ninth video from my drum cover series I did with Circle Up Sessions/ Dudley Merriam . The tenth song is “We Do What We Can ” By Sheryl Crow from his 1993 album , “Tuesday Night Music Club”. The album was named after a group of writers called the Tuesday Night Music Club, including David Baerwald, Bill Bottrell, Kevin Gilbert, Brian MacLeod, and Dan Schwartz.

I fell in love with this album when it came out. Loved the different musical vibes on the album. I also loved the rhythm section on the album and especially this track. The drummer was Brian MacLeod and I loved his groove focused and very tasty playing with great feel. And the interplay between him and Dan Schwartz on bass was awesome:

So like I said, in the first post, these cover videos are inspired by the Drumeo Videos. I didn’t go back and review the songs and did the one take to the best of my memory of the song. These are meant as a tribute to the artist/band/drummer and the memory of my days, as a kid playing in my bedroom, along to records, and the countless inspiration that they gave me. These videos are definitely not note for note just having fun.

So thank you Sheryl, Brian and Dan for the inspiration!!!
