If you use the cable car in Pokhara, you can get the best view of the Himalayas—but not if you travel like I did.
You might think Nepal allows the cable car to operate until sunset, but no, you have to return before you can even enjoy the best view.
And if you don’t ask beforehand, you’ll have to take a taxi back. Some drivers may take advantage of the situation to overcharge you.
There are pretty cool spots at the top of the Annapurna Cable Car, but they won't let you be there after sunset.
