About the film:
Extension was a film shot in under 24hours by filmmaker Ryan Mjoen. This was his first submission to the Art of Documentary "One-Day-Doc Competition" where it won the audience award. The One-Day-Doc Competition is held twice a year by the AOD community exclusively for AOD members, it's a chance for many filmmakers to shoot their first film or hone their documentary skills and put to test what they've been learning in the AOD academy. The 24hour format forces filmmakers to stay very focused on a sharp, precise story. Many AOD filmmakers have been able to take their films to numerous reputable festivals afterwards.
