2018 Ice Fishing Northern Wisconsin

It's our first video of 2018. Swim season for the kids is over. They had an awesome season. But, now that we have our weekends again, we can get back to fishing.

Couple new things for this ice fishing season. We bought an Eskimo Propane Auger 10-Inch, http://amzn.to/2FwLWZj, it cuts nice, and we don't have to mess with mixing gas. We have had no issues so far, it cuts through ice fast and is a joy to use. So far I am glad we replaced the hand auger. We also have a Clam ice shack that my friend let Sanaa and I borrow for the season. I also bought a Stansport Portable Outdoor Infrared Propane Heater, http://amzn.to/2oslatB, for the shack, it keeps us warm enough for me to remove my jacket(s).

We didn't get any keepers on this trip, we caught 6 small perch that we returned to the lake to hopefully grow bigger.
