ONION LOVER PAKORA;
INGREDIENTS;
• Onion (cut into slices)- 2 medium sized
• Curry leaves- few
• Chopped green onions- ¼ cup
• Gram flour (besan)-1 cup or as required
• Salt- ¾ teaspoon or to taste
• Crushed coriander seeds- 2 teaspoons
• Crushed red chili- 1 teaspoon
• Water- 2 & ½ tablespoons or as required
DIRECTIONS;
• In a big bowl add all vegetables, gram flour (besan) and all spices. Mix well.
• Add water gradually and mix well.
• Take small portion of mixture and add in medium hot oil. Fry on medium heat until light golden.
. When pakora are almost done then add few curry leaves and fry for few seconds.
• Keep flipping in between so both sides are well cooked.
.Tips To Make Pakora (Fritters) Crispy:
By following these 2 tips you can easily make crispy pakora (fritters) and it stays crispy for 3 to 4 hours.
• Do not add too much gram flour(besan) in pakora mixture. Gram flour quantity should be lesser than the vegetable quantity.
• At first add only little bit of water in mixture, then mix. If need more water then add little by little. If water quantity is more, then the mixture would be soggy and pakora would not be crispy.
