In this video, I enable 2-Step Verification using ONLY "Backup Codes" and NO phone(s).
On November 1, 2021, YouTube Studio will require (monetized) channels to use 2-Step Verification (aka 2-Factor Authentication). The expected method requires the use of a smart phone, with preferred backup options also using a phone.
But what if you don't have a smart phone, are in an area with poor cell service or simply would prefer NOT to use your phone (for whatever reason)?
