This customer has stated that his engine feels as if it is misfiring at idle. Customer was correct. This 2017 Ford F250 equipped with a 6.7 liter powerstroke diesel engine came in shaking at idle. Code P0305 misfire cylinder number 5 and P1265 injector high to low short.
I go through the pinpoint test and show you two different ways to test an injector for the powerstroke and see if it is at fault.
Sure enough he had a bad injector. New injector installed and customer is happy. No more misfire after installing ad programming the IQA code into the pcm.
