An ideal beginner sewing project
Can be made just using scraps of fabric.
Small basket
Cut 2 x 6" (15 cm) x 8" (20 cm) of medium weight interfacing preferably non fusible, then cut out a 1 1/2" (3.5 cm) square from the two bottom corners.
Cut 2 pieces of lining fabric 6" (15 cm) x 8" (20 cm) then cut out a 1 1/2" (3.5 cm) square from the two bottom corners.
Large basket
Cut 2 x 10" (25 cm) x 12" (30 cm) of medium weight interfacing preferably non fusible, then cut out a 2 1/2" (6 cm) square from the two bottom corners.
Cut 2 pieces of lining fabric 10" (25 cm) x 12" (30 cm) then cut out a 2 1/2" (6 cm) square from the two bottom corners.
