With Burns Day approaching, I'm taking you on a tour of Robert Burns' Birthplace in Alloway near Ayr!

This is where Scotland's National Poet started his life, born in a cottage that still stands today, run by the National Trust for Scotland. This was also where his epic poem Tam o' Shanter was set and I'll take you through its most important stages.
