This is the crash site where Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, and Ritchie, Valens, along with the pilot lost their lives near Clear lake, Iowa when their plane crashed due to bad weather and pilot error. The weather was fog, snow, and high wind that night just like what we are looking at in the video. The crash would have happened 12 hours from filming on this day. Filmed February 2nd, 2019.
