There is a big chance that if you ask a kid what they want to be when they grow up, they will tell you they want to be an astronaut. It looks cool and fun… and you get to see the earth from out of space. But, is it all easy, when it comes to working as an astronaut? Come and discover with Tony the dark side to being an astronaut. ony Colin is a research fellow at the Munich Center for Space Communications hosted by the UniBw. Since 2017, he has been pursuing a Ph.D. degree contributing to the development of future mobile communications based on satellites. He completed a Master’s degree in Communications Engineering at the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse in France, and an Advanced Master’s degree in Space Communication Systems at the ISAE-Supaero institute, also located in Toulouse. Tony is an alumnus of the International Space University and eager to share with you his fascination for space.
