Base Round Pattern (Rounds 1-20) - Up to 60cm:
Round 1: Make a magic ring, ch 1, 8 sc into the ring, close ring, sl st to first sc. (8 sts)
Round 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around, sl st. (16 sts)
Round 3: Ch 1, 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, rep around, sl st. (24 sts)
Round 4: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st, rep around, sl st. (32 sts)
Round 5: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st, rep around, sl st. (40 sts)
Round 6: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st, rep around, sl st. (48 sts)
Round 7: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st, rep around, sl st. (56 sts)
Round 8: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 6 sts, 2 sc in next st, rep around, sl st. (64 sts)
Round 9: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 7 sts, 2 sc in next st, rep around, sl st. (72 sts)
Round 10: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 8 sts, 2 sc in next st, rep around, sl st. (80 sts)

Round 20: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 18 sts, 2 sc in next st, rep around, sl st. (160 sts)

Stop until desired diameter.
Sl st into first sc of the round.
Ch 1 does not count as a st.
To add more rounds: Continue the increasing pattern by adding 1 more single crochet between increases on each round.
