In this video you will get a closer look at the SmartRewinder, a micro-controller managed rewinder to be operated with the Prusa MMU3 without an external filament buffer. It can be used free standing on the desk or also integrated into filament storage systems, in this case with the CORE CUBE Professional (https://www.printables.com/model/1381..., but other are also possible. It works with all Prusa MMU3 enabled 3D printers such as Core One oder MK4 oder MK3 and ensures constant smooth and reliable filament changes with a very small footprint on space. Compared to previews videos you see an improved movement behaviour through an optimized algorithm. The SmartRewinder system can handle up to 5 spools and is operated through a touch screen. Still doing a lot of test prints, to ensure high quality before launch. The counter stands at the time of publishing this video at 5000+ filament changes without a single issue, on filament load, unload or change while printing with the standard Prusa printer and filament profiles without any modification for Core One in Prusa Slicer.
