Here I combine the developments discussed in the first nine lectures to ask the question: can the laws of physics be invariant under a general (invertible) change of space-time coordinates? Various physical motivations of the idea are reviewed and it is argued that the equation of motion of a particle in a Lorentzian space-time is the geodesic equation with proper time as a parameter.
