This is a short edit of our 4 day backpacking trip on the Eagle Rock Loop in Arkansas. On day 4 of our hike, April 8th, we saw the total solar eclipse from the Winding Stairs on the Little Missouri River. Totality began at 1:48pm and then lasted 4 minutes and 17 seconds.
We started from the Viles Branch Trailhead and then hiked the loop counterclockwise. Total miles 30.24
