DIY guide to replacing the secondary timing chain tensioners on a 2001 Jaguar XJR 4.0 V8 Supercharged. Please note that this is not by any means an official how to guide, merely a look at how I did it. This is not a manufacturer sanctioned procedure and is highly risky. It did work for me however, but as such this video is for entertainment purposes only. The video gives you a good idea of how damaged the old timing chain tensioners can be.
