Le Nepitelle o “PIZZI' CCU NIEBITA” come le ho sempre chiamate io, sono dei dolci tipici calabresi molto antichi. Il suo nome deriva dal latino Nepitedum Che significa palpebra degli occhi e infatti il dolce ricorda l’occhio chiuso.
Vengono preparati nel periodo pasquale e l’ingrediente fondamentale e la mostarda di uva fragola .
Al posto della mostarda potete usare la marmellata di prugne o fragola
Con questa dose e un disco di 12 cm come diametro vengono 20 pezzi di Nepitelle

FROLLA
500 grammi di farina
150 grammi di zucchero
150 grammi di strutto
1 bustina di lievito per dolci
3 uova

RIPIENI
200 gr di noci
200 gr di mandorle
150 gr di fichi secchi
100 gr di uva sultanina
150 grammi di mostarda di uva
1 cucchiaino di cannella in polvere
1/2 cucchiaino di chiodi di garofano
30 gr di cacao amaro
200 gr di miele
100 gr di cioccolato fondente
Un bicchierino di liquore strega
Scorza di arancia grattugiata
