So Hello Games dropped the Desolation Update today heres some raw footage of me playing the scrap dealer mission ( minor edits for beer and bathroom breaks )

No Man’s Sky’s new Desolation update is here, and it’s full of more creepy story content than the game has ever had before. The update gives players new spaces to explore by adding abandoned freighters all throughout space, each with its own unique story of what happened to its crew.
The freighters themselves will be procedurally generated, meaning that no two freighter interiors will be the same. When players come across these vessels floating around in the vastness of space, they’ll be able to board and begin exploring. Inside the spooky abandoned spacecraft, players might find any number of dangers, like a rogue security system AI or a new kind of biological enemy that has infested the ship. As players make their way through the perils of each haunted ship, they’ll also find procedurally generated storylines that can be discovered through captain’s logs, personal items, and ship logs.
