La ciudad de Santa Fe de la Vera Cruz, tal es su nombre en toda su extensión, es la capital de la provincia Argentina con el mismo nombre. Fue fundada en 1573, por Juan de Garay, el mismo que lo hizo con Buenos Aires, aunque en 1649 fue trasladada al emplazamiento actual para resolver un problema de inundaciones. Tiene una rica historia en el desarrollo de la historia Argentina. En lo esencial, es la cuna de la Constitución Argentina de 1853, dado que allí se reunió el Congreso General Constituyente que institucionalizó al país.
Su población supera los 400.000 habitantes. En lo deportivo, se destaca por dos clubes reconocidos que tienen equipos de fútbol en la liga más importante de Argentina, de uno de ellos, Colón, podrán ver su estadio en los inicios del video del lado derecho y se identifica con los colores negro y rojo. Asimismo, podrán ver simpatizantes de Unión, el otro club, ya que el día del video el equipo jugaba con un equipo de fútbol de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, River Plate.
Una de sus construcciones emblemas es el Puente Colgante Ingeniero Marcial Candioti del que disfrutarán una pasada por él. Dicho puente data de la década del 20 y en 1983 colapsó por las crecidas y falta de mantenimiento. Fue reconstruido y reinaugurado veinte años más tarde.
Cuenta con un puerto, dado que es un ciudad ubicada a orillas del Río Paraná, en la Hidrovía Paraguay-Paraná, siendo, aguas arriba, el último Puerto de ultramar apto para operaciones con buques oceánicos.
En materia educativa, la ciudad es Sede de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral donde se pueden estudiar muchas carreras universitarias.
