RIFT - Tales of the Riftwalker, Part IV

Video #71 - The "Tales of the Riftwalker" continue in Part IV -- "Marked by Fate"!

In Part I ("Guardian of Telara"), Raelskye becomes an Ascended Guardian; in Part II ("Nightmare of the Ascended"), she heads to the Plane of Water in an attempt to confront her growing nightmares. In Part III ("The Flames of Faith"), she faces them. And here in Part IV, the devout Guardian and lady saint of the Vigil must confront a god... at any cost.

Since I first created her, Raelskye has always been a devout Guardian, with an unwavering faith in the Vigil. But sown throughout RIFT's storyline are hints of a sixth god in the pantheon, a missing goddess... and one who apparently has had her hand in things for far longer than Rael ever imagined. And starting in Ghar Station Tau, at the edge of Tarken Glacier, comes one of my other favorite storylines.

This was another arc where I was yelling at my computer monitor about Rael's interactions with Aia. And like Tales III, I ran the "Goddess" questline I don't know how many times to film what I needed.

The music for Tales IV needed to be sweeping, epic, and dark... enter Thomas Vo, whom I had worked with previously on some of my CITY OF HEROES videos. Thomas' track "Fractures" was utterly perfect for this video, and I'm proud to work with him again.

I was really surprised at how well Parts I, II, and III have gone over with the RIFT community! (And yay for cameos - I promised Laeti@Laethys and Mupi@Faeblight that I would get them in, and now I have!) Thank you guys so much for all the support! :D
