Making a paper mache greyhound: Dutchess
Make the armour out of wire and tinfoil. I start shaping the dog at this point. I use masking tape to cover the tinfoil and wire. This helps to keep the shape.
I made a small heart out of tinfoil and paper to go in the dog's chest, just for fun :)
Keep adding tinfoil and tape until you're happy with the shape.
Now mix some white glue with a bit of water. Don't make it too liquid, you just need to thin down the glue a bit.
Cut paper into strips. I used an old book that was damaged, but you can also use other types of paper (like newspaper, for example)
Dip every piece of paper in the water and glue mixture. You want it to be quite damp, but not dripping. Add layers paper, wrapping it tightly until you are happy with the final shape of the dog.
Let it dry completely and paint it if you wish. I used Rohrer and Klingner inks.
Draw the face. You're done :)
