I found a cheap mannequin at the thrift store and it was a few sizes too small. I decided to resize it using quilting batting and making a new outer sleeve for it. I used a staple gun mostly to attach the layers, but tiny safety pins and straight pins can be used. No duct tape used, no sewing pattern, my total cost was about $35.

1. Mannequin $13 used, store bought for the same item was $50 for a new one
2. Batting (I used about 2 yards to move up about 2 sizes) https://www.etsy.com/listing/79802151... this runs about $5/yard. I had leftovers from a former project
3. Polka dot knit fabric, I used one yard $9/yard, https://www.etsy.com/listing/69774085...
4. Ribbon to cinch the top and bottom
5. Staple gun, staples, safety pins, straight pins, sewing machine
