Circus Circus is a hotel and casino resort located on the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip just north of Resorts World Las Vegas and across the street from the Las Vegas Convention Center and the newly opened Fontainebleau Las Vegas. It opened on October 18, 1968 as a circus themed resort. It is home to the world's largest permanent circus as well as Adventuredome, Carnival Midway, and The Steak House. Today, Circus Circus has 3,767 rooms on its property as well as the only RV park on the Las Vegas Strip. Circus Circus is still true to their roots, still offering free circus acts almost daily. Spongebob's Crazy Carnival Ride recently opened at Circus Circus. Circus Circus moved all of the coin slots machines into the Slots-A-Fun casino on the adjacent property. The Adventuredome at Circus Circus is an indoor theme park with rides and arcade.
