In the waning years of the pre war designs, Mercury had a lineup that offered a healthy dose of value with a side of luxury. This 47 Sedan is finished in a handsome shade of maroon and features eye catching brightwork all around the car. The suicide doors welcome you to a spacious interior with comfortable and supportive cloth seats, a color keyed dashboard and gauges surrounded by polished metal. Under the hood is Ford flathead V8 and is complemented by original style 6 volt battery and generator. This engine bay is a real blast from the past! Power from the flathead is sent through a column shift 3 speed manual and is put to the pavement by wide white wall bias ply tires. Cars like these are getting rarer and rarer.
