✨ INGREDIENTS
Basic Ingredients:
• Rice – 1/4 cup (Govindbhog preferred)
• Milk – 1 liter (full cream)
• Sugar – 3/4 cup
• Saffron/Kesar – few strands soaked in warm milk
• Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
For Garnish:
• Sliced almonds
• Chopped kaju (cashews)
🍴 Instructions
Soak Govindbhog rice and almonds for some time, then grind to a fine paste.
Boil full cream milk in a pan.
Slowly add the rice-almond paste while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
Add sugar, saffron milk, and cardamom powder.
Cook on low flame until the mixture thickens to a creamy consistency.
Pour the Phirni into serving bowls and allow it to set.
Garnish with sliced almonds and chopped kaju.
Serve chilled for best taste!
