The Level.3 is the next-generation model of Aventon’s commuter e-bike that now includes the brand’s ACU smart module. This adds 4G connectivity for location tracking, allowing users to set geofencing boundaries, remotely deactivate the bike in the event of theft, and more.

The Level.3 has a 500W rear hub motor with a remarkably sensitive torque sensor. In the low-power assist levels, the bike feels much like an analog bike while in the high-power levels, it feels nearly effortless to ride.

We liked the bike’s overall handling and sturdy, well-constructed feel. Thanks to its gravity-cast aluminum frame, it feels rigid and solid without feeling too heavy, so it also steers and corners responsively.
