The fracture in a backbone is know as Vertreabal Compression Fracture, it occurs when vertebral body in the spine collapses, that might be a serious problem that lead to a server pain or height loss.
Your General Physician might prescribe some diagnosis after listening to your symptoms of problems. Then he/she will gives you some initial medications. If those medicines doesn't work then he/she may refer you to the Pain Management Specialist after seeing some basic investigation like MRI, CT Scan, etc.
