South African Airways (ZS-SXF) Airbus A340-313 arrives on the first flight from Johannesburg since April 29, 2020, [exactly 4 years ago] 🤯.
This aircraft first flew on February 5, 2005 and was delivered to SAA on March 18, 2005.
On June 6, 2005 it was leased to Indian airline, Jet Airways (VT-JWC).
On July 10, 2007 it returned to SAA.
Between June 19, 2020 and February 16, 2022 it was stored at O. R. Tambo International Airport (FAOR) in Johannesburg.
It was returned to service on February 16, 2022 and it is the only A340 left in the SAA fleet.
