Homemade Curried Sausages | Aussie girl can cook | curried sausages recipes

Old school curried sausages and still a favorite around our table. really easy to make. serves 8 with mash. recipe written below.

6 hard boiled eggs peeled and cut into quarters add at end

1 kg thin sausages browned then sliced set aside


10 short cut bacon tops chopped
2 brown onions chopped

fry in pan til browned then add

1/2 cup frozen peas

1 ltr chicken stock

1 and 1/2 table spoons tomato paste

good squeeze tomato sauce

2 table spoons wistershire sauce

1 tea spoon keens curry powder

handful sultanas optional

mix through well then add sausages and mix through again
bring up to simmer for 10 to 15 mins

while simmering make the gravy mix up

2 heaped spoons gravy mix and a normal spoon
1 spoon cornflour
1 cup water
whisk

after 10 to 15 bring up to boil add gravy mix a little at a time and stir well
once thick turn off heat
add eggs and gently stir in
serve
great on mash or rice or toast or in toastie maker
