Welcome to Episode 2 of my custom tray build series for the chopped 80 Series LandCruiser!
In this episode, it’s time to get hands-on. I start bringing the tray to life by cutting and welding the final pieces. Precision and strength are key here — this tray needs to handle serious off-road punishment.
I’ll walk you through the fabrication process, some key design decisions along the way, and a few unexpected challenges that came up during the build. It’s starting to take shape — and things are only getting more exciting from here.
