Описание:

Within Queensland are a series of 16 monoliths which jet out of the ground by as 300 meters or 984 feet. Known as the Glass House Mountains, these monoliths are largely volcanic in origin. While some represent the solidifed magma chambers of ancient volcanoes, other represent the solidifed molten rock from failed magmatic intrusions which occurred more than 20 million years ago. This video discusses in detail how these famed features formed and their relation to the Comboyne Hotspot.
